Senior member, Mike Fish, at the ABA 2019 Workers’ Compensation Midwinter Seminar and Conference

Fish Nel­son & Hold­en LLC is pleased to announce that its senior mem­ber, Mike Fish, recent­ly spoke at the ABA 2019 Work­ers’ Com­pen­sa­tion Mid­win­ter Sem­i­nar and Con­fer­ence in Coral Gables, Florida. 

 

Fish, rep­re­sent­ing Alaba­ma, par­tic­i­pat­ed in a pan­el dis­cus­sion titled ​“Sub­ro­ga­tion: What It Is and How It Works”.

 

The pan­el addressed the dif­fer­ences in employ­er sub­ro­ga­tion rights from state to state. Issues relat­ed to short term and long term dis­abil­i­ty pay­ments, as well as health care liens, were discussed.
